Important Project

The ministry said it was an important project to protect the fishing industry in the region, adding that the project would ensure a safe parking area for boats. The fishermen agreed on the proposed location and demanded that the work be completed immediately. Fishermen's entrances were proposed at three places under construction under Gwadar Highway, which was not planned in the initial design. The project will be implemented by Gwadar Development Authority (GDA), Gwadar Port Pakistan and is expected to be completed by 2021.
